WHO ARE WE & WHY SELL TO US

Hi my name is Steve Levy. I have been in the jewelry trade since 1979. I originally entered the business as a manufacture's representative. Within a few short years I started my own business as a diamond trader and jewelry manufacturer. Eventually my business grew to become one of the largest diamond earring companies in the US. I eventually sold out to a larger company and resumed trading diamonds and dealing primarily in estate jewelry. This business grew rapidly to include buying millions in gold and diamonds.

In 1994 I relocated my business to Port St Lucie, Florida from the rat race of Fort Lauderdale. I was drawn by the growth forecasts and the potential for developing a then, nonexistent estate jewelry store. St Lucie Jewelry was an immediate success, and grew rapidly with business almost doubling every year for the first 10 years. Now 15 years have passed and we have become the largest buyer of scrap gold and jewelry in Saint Lucie County, also known as the Treasure Coast due to the constant surfacing of treasure coins on its vast beaches.

St. Lucie Jewelry grew to add a wholesale division, buying scrap gold and diamonds from other dealers. We then added our Bullion and US coin division. Currently we buy hundreds of thousands of dollars a month in scrap gold. Our retail division alone sees on the average of about 125 customers per day and continues to grow. In July of 2008 I formed Scrap Gold Buyers.com which has brought you to my site.

WHY ARE WE DIFFERENT?

The reason we have grown so consistently since 1994 is because of my simple philosophy. Treat a customer with respect, give them a great deal, and be thankful for their business. It is not really that complicated. You will be treated with the same courtesy if we are doing $20 in business or $200,000.00 in business. Everybody's transaction is important to them and that is how we treat them.
